In some versions of “Little Red Riding-Hood”, the girl sees through the wolf’s disguise and convinces it to let her outside; the wold ties a string around her ankle to keep track of her, but she snips it with her sewing scissors, ties the end to a tree and runs away.
This was done mostly in pencil and only slightly enhanced digitally.
